About the AV
The brief was to provide a multi-zone background music system to service all areas of the day spa including seven private treatment rooms, for a total of eight zones including the common areas. Each of the seven treatment rooms has access to three different in-house music channels as well as a local audio input to run guided meditation sessions. The staff are able to select their music feed and change volume via simple wall controllers located near the light switches of each room.
There are a total of eighteen Audac 6” full range in-ceiling loudspeakers powered by an Audac sixteen channel amplifier. Zoning and processing is handled by a BSS Soundweb DSP with 8 BSS Contrio wall controllers.
